In this article, we’ll explore the biblical principle of “identity in Christ.” We’ll analyze the way our flesh wants us to see ourselves and compare that to how God wants us to see ourselves, according to the Bible. There is a huge gap between these two points of view. As Christians, we therefore find ourselves in a battle to choose a perspective. Why is it a battle? Because our flesh naturally takes us to a certain point of view. But God challenges us to see ourselves from His point of view, which is very different, and completely liberating.
